Antonio Slim Serrano, known in the music world as Tony Mils, has chosen a different path from that of his prominent business family. Son of the renowned Mexican businessman Marco Antonio Slim Domit and Ximena Serrano, and grandson of the richest person in Mexico and Latin America, Tony is the only member of the Slim family who has decided to forge a career in the artistic world, specifically in music.
Born in Mexico City, Tony studied at the Irish Institute, like his cousin Alejandro Elías Slim. Unlike most of his family, who are dedicated to the business world and keep a more discreet profile, Tony has chosen to follow his passion for music, facing various challenges with determination.

Tony’s love for music was born at an early age, thanks to the influence of his mother, Ximena Serrano, who introduced him to Michael Jackson. This led him to travel to Colombia to begin producing his music.
“Being confident in myself and knowing that I was on the right path was, I think, my biggest challenge,” Tony said in an interview. Although not knowing anyone in the music industry was a significant obstacle, his perseverance has allowed him to overcome initial barriers and produce music that has received a warm reception.
Despite choosing a different path, Tony has the unconditional support of his family, including his famous grandfather, Carlos Slim Helu. His family is the first to listen to his songs and offer feedback to hone his craft. Currently, Tony is committed to finishing his college studies at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, considering this education to be fundamental for his personal development and a potential contribution to his musical career.
Career on the Rise
Tony Mils has managed to perform on important stages throughout his young career, such as the Lunario at the Auditorio Nacional and Ragga. “When I get on stage, it’s like being in a moment of happiness, peace, and fun,” the artist confessed.
Among his most notable hits are “Prohibido Enamorarse,” “Aventarnos,” and “Hoy Que Te Amo.” Tony aspires for his music to be appreciated and recognized for its quality, focusing his lyrics mainly on love themes and evoking images of the beach and the transience of life. His musical style is eclectic and ranges from ballads to R&B. He enjoys experimenting with different sounds to offer something new to his audience.
On a personal level, Tony has three siblings: Valentina, Marco, and Jerónimo Slim. Unlike him, they prefer to keep a more reserved profile and are less involved in the public eye, focusing on their own interests and projects.
